A lover of sea and ships? This museum is what you have always longed for. Having a spectacular recreation of Zheng He’s ship, this towering museum is full of historical shipping relics, model boats and even a pirate theme based 4D cinema.

A complete visit of this museum in Shanghai provides its visitors a deeper understanding of navigation technology. Its different portions include, Ship Hall, Sailor’s Hall, Navigation and Harbor Hall, Maritime Affairs and Security Hall and Military Navigation Hall. These give a clear picture of the progression of Chinese naval customs, from ancient wooden rafts to modern huge fleets.

4D theatre of this museum, having a capacity of around two hundred, is equipped with modern technology, where you can get a thrill out of storms, raining, lightening and high tides, feeling your own self present in the scenes.
