Shanghai Propaganda Poster Art Centre is a private collection of posters of China from the Mao Zedong era. The posters range from pictures of soldiers fighting against the enemies of Communist Party to healthy children to happy farmers in the fields with their buckets full of crops. The owner of the museum, Mr. Yang Pei Ming, initially started collecting the posters as a hobby, but later on converted it into an exhibition area.

It is located in the basement of a residential building on Huashan Lu Road. The museum comprises of only two rooms and is a tourism attraction in Shanghai mainly for tourists. Nevertheless, local history aficionados also visit it to see a vast collection of original posters, mostly from the Mao era. It also has a gift shop where you can purchase original and replica posters and postcards as well as antique trinkets and souvenirs depicting how communist China was. Yang has a vast knowledge of the Mao era and is mostly available to the visitors for further discussion.
