The Beijing Xian Shanghai tour will take you from Pudong Airport to Xi’an where you will begin by visiting the Terracotta Warriors Museum in a private car and guide. After that, you will have lunch at a local restaurant and then visit the Xi’an City Wall, exploring its ancient history and architecture. The next stop will be the Muslim Quarter in Beilin district of Xi’an where you will get to enjoy delicious local food and learn the historical importance of Xi’an. This tour arranges the night stay in a 5-star hotel and leave the next morning for Beijing.

After arriving in Beijing the next morning via air, you will go straight to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall and enjoy the majestic sights there. The next stop will be the Nanluoguxiang area in Beijing to explore the local attractions and historic locations dating back over seven centuries. As the evening comes, you will go to a local restaurant for dinner which will comprise of the world-famous Peking Duck. The night will conclude after dinner with 4-star accommodation for the night.

The third day will be spent exploring all the main attractions around Beijing. This includes Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Chairman Mao Museum and Mausoleum, and the Palace Museum as well. You will also visit the Temple of Heaven, after which a private car will take you to the airport for your flight back to Shanghai. We can pick you up from your Shanghai hotel in the downtown area or pick you up from airport or train station or port, the flight departure time will be around 6 am to 9 am in the morning.

Tour concludes at Beijing Capital International Airport. Please let your guide know if you are having an extended stay in Beijing to coordinate drop-off at your next hotel instead. If you need to fly back to Shanghai, please contact us to request for quotation for the return flight and private airport transfer.

Day 1: Shanghai-Xi’an

Stop At: Pudong International Airport, Pudong International Airport, Shanghai
In the early morning, around 5am to 6am, you will be picked up from your Shanghai city hotel and to be transferred to Pudong International Airport. Then take a flight to Xi’an City.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Xi’an, Xi’an, Shaanxi
After your flight arrived at Xi’an airport, our local tour guide and driver will pick you from the exit of the airport, then take you to the Terracotta Warriors museum.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, Qinling North Road, Lintong District, Xi’an 710600 China
Terracotta Warriors museum is world-famous, there are more than 8000 pieces of real-life sized Terracotta Warrior and potter horsed were excavated out from here in three burial pits. The whole underground army was buried for the first Chinese emperor to guard for him in the underground world for his afterlife. No historical record mentioned the Terracotta Warriors army, until 1974, the local farmer dig the water well, then the underground army was found and well known as the eighth wonder of the world.

Stop At: Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang), Zhongxin District, Xi’an 710001 China
After the visit of Terracotta Warriors museum, let’s come to a local popular restaurant for lunch, we will order some local representative yummy food and drinks. After lunch, then we drive to Xi’an City Wall, this ancient building was built at the beginning of Ming Dynasty 600 years ago, it is about 14 kilometers long and reputed as the best-preserved and longest City Wall in China. 12-14 meters wide on the top and 15-18 meters wide at the bottom. 12 meters tall.

Stop At: Muslim Quarter, West of Bell Drum Towers Square, Beilin District, Xi’an 710000 China
Let’s come to the Muslim Quarter which is at the downtown center of Xi’an. As the start point of Silk Road, Xi’an was ever the biggest international city in the world, so there are many Muslim people come to Xi’an to do business and settle down here, there are still more than 10,0000 Muslim people living in Muslim Quarter now, most of the restaurants here are run by the Muslim people, much yummy local food here, it is the local very popular place for travelers and locals in the evening.

We will have our dinner here in the Muslim Quarter, taste the local representative snacks food for dinner, a very unforgettable foodie experience for your journey in China.

After dinner, drive you to the local included hotel(5-star), the room type is a standard room and the next morning buffet breakfast is included.

Day 2: Xi’an-Beijing

Stop At: Mutianyu Great Wall, Mutianyu Village, Bohai Town, Huairou District, Beijing China
In the early morning, pick you up from your hotel, then drive to Xi’an international airport, take the morning flight to fly to Beijing. After the flight arrived at Beijing International airport, our local Beijing tour guide and driver will pick you up from the exit of the airport, then drive to the Mutianyu Great Wall.

Mutianyu Great Wall is the best-preserved and most beautiful part of the Great Wall around Beijing, it is also much less crowded than other parts of the Great Wall. The stunning scenery is all very beautiful in different seasons, the round-trip cable car up and down on the Great Wall is all included.

Stop At: Nanluoguxiang, Nanluoguo Xiang, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100009 China
From Mutianyu Great Wall, let’s drive to Beijing downtown area, we will come to Nanluoguxiang Hutong, Beijing has the history longer than 2600years, there are many old alleys in Beijing, Nanluoguxiang Hutong is the local oldest and most famous Hutong alley in Beijing, the history of Nanluoguxiang can date back to Yuan dynasty 700years ago. Walking through Nanluoguxiang Hutong, you can feel and touch the local’s life and Beijing’s old history here.

Then let’s come to a local very popular roast duck restaurant for dinner in an old courtyard. Pekin roast duck is world well-known delicacy, our dinner tonight will be Pekin roast duck, you can even watch how the duck been roasted in the oven and watch the chef use the sharp knife to cut the roast duck in slices in front of you, very interesting and yummy foodie experience.

Day 3: Beijing

Stop At: Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang), West Changan Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100006 China
In the morning, let’s go to visit Tiananmen Square, it is the biggest square in the world and well known for many big moments happened here in the history. The Chairman Mao memorial museum and China Congress Building are located here, Tiananmen Square was ever part of Forbidden City in the Ming and Qing Dynasty, it became a square from 1949 after the revolutionary.

Stop At: Forbidden City-The Palace Museum, No.4 Jingshanqian Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100009 China
Walking through the Tiananmen Gate, we will walk in the Forbidden City, it was built 600years ago at the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, serving the palaces of the Ming Dynasty and the Qing Dynasty. The whole palace has more than 8400rooms which is the biggest palace in the world. There are three Grand Halls for the emperor’s working places at the front area and residential area for the emperor and concubines at the back area, walking along its axis line from the south gate to the north gate. Then we go for lunch in a local popular restaurant which is famous for Beijing’s traditional hot pot, it is not spicy flavor and eating with sesame sauce. Many food choices, beef, lamb, and all kinds of vegetables.

Please notice that the Forbidden City will be closed every Monday. So we will reschedule the itinerary arrangement or replace the Forbidden City with the Summer Palace or Lama temple.

Stop At: Temple of Heaven, Tiantan Road, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100050 China
After lunch, let’s go to visit another UNESCO historical sight-Temple of Heaven in Beijing. Temple of Heaven is the place for the ancient Chinese emperors to pray for a good harvest of the new year, its architecture design and building is a masterpiece for the ancient Chinese culture and architecture. There is a park here, serving locals as the morning exercise, so many locals coming here to practice Taichi, dancing, and singing Pekin Opera here.

After we finish the visit of Temple of heaven, if you need us to drop you off at the Beijing international airport, then our driver will take you to the airport directly, or if you need us to drop you off at the hotel which you booked by yourselves,please offer our tour guide and driver about the hotel address, then we can drop you off at the hotel. Then the tour will be finished then.
